Flaine is located in the Haute-Savoie region of the French Alps and forms part of the Grand Massif ski area, which boasts an impressive 267 km of skiable pistes in total. This review focuses specifically on the Flaine area, as that’s where we stayed. While it may not have the extreme steepness of some famous Alpine resorts, but as an overall package it’s superb. With varied runs, reliable snow, and options for all ability levels, it’s a solid choice for beginners through to advanced riders. On the road to 500 subs so If you enjoyed the video any likes and subs are much appreciated! cheers :)
E-bike MTB adventure to EMERALD waters | Seebensee | Ein Tirol-Abenteuer /
On our final day in Austria we rented some E-bikes and headed off on an adventure to Seebensee, a lake known for it's stunning surroundings and emerald coloured water. It did not disappoint! and the ride there on the bikes was pretty fun too :) All in all this trip to Tirol was a big success and I will def be back to Austria soon! I hope you enjoyed the series, any likes and subs and much appreciated as always. Cheers :)
First Time Riding a RED | Katzenkopf Leutasch | Ein Tirol-Abenteuer /
After Leaving Pertisau we headed for Katzenkopf Leutasch to get an afternoon session in the bike park before Thunder storms hit. Lucky for me we got there with plenty of time to spare and I was able to have some redemption getting back on the bike after a big crash a month earlier! If you enjoyed the video consider giving it a thumbs up and subbing it helps out a ton and I would love to crack 500 subs at some point :) cheers!
Picturesque hiking around Bärenkopf 1991m | Ein Tiroler Abenteuer /
On the third day in Pertisau we went for a hike up to Bärenkopf and the valleys around the town. It turned out to be super cool, lots of great views, big mountains and a lot of nature to enjoy! If you enjoy the videos any like and subs are much appreciated ^^
Pertisau to Achenkirch by BIKE Around Achensee | Ein Tiroler Abenteuer /
On our first day in Pertisau we made use of the free bikes and cycled around Lake Achensee to the far end along the cycle path. It was a super chill ride and we had an excellent coffee at one end! It was well worth the adventure, I'd recommend it! If you enjoyed the video any subs and likes are much appreciated :)
A lake so clean you drink DIRECTLY from it | Pertisau | Ein Tirol-Abenteuer /
From Kühtai we drove to Pertisau, the lake town was awesome, super nice restaurants, fancy drinks, nice spas & a lake so clean you could drink directly from it. It was super nice and a cool change of scenery from the high mountain town of Kühtai. If you enjoyed the video any likes & subs are much appreciated :)
Swimming in ICE cold lakes over 2000m | Kühtai | Ein Tirol-Abenteuer /
On the last day in Kühtai, we did a smaller hike up around the ski slopes to see some of the lakes on that side of the valley. We ended up taking a dip in some of them and brave the cold waters! It was a pretty fun little excursion to do some wild swimming in very clean water! If you enjoyed the video any likes and subs are much appreciated! :)
Pirchkogel 2828m | Panoramic views of The Austrian Alps | Ein Tiroler Abenteuer /
The day after I hiked Sulzkogel I hiked up the other side of the valley in Kuhtai and climbed Pirchkogel (2828m). It wasn't a planned hike I just sort of kept walking to see where the path would go but in the end it was well worth the hike. The views from the top were awesome and I would highly recommend it! Hopefully you enjoy the video, any likes and subs are always appreciated! :) cheers!
Sulzkogel | The most accessible 3000m peak in Austria | Ein Tiroler Abenteuer /
This hike was a longtime coming. Ever since my trip to spain where I accidentally climbed the wrong mountains I've been looking for a hike I could do above 3000m. After some googling I found Sulzkogel (3016m). 12 months of planning later I was finally able to check that goal off. It was an awesome hike and a great experience overall :) hopefully you enjoy watching the hike and seeing the views. Shout out to Paul and Johan, it was a pleasure meeting you guys and hiking on the same day as you!
The 007 Elements Experience | Sölden | Ein Tirol-Abenteuer /
Following our brief but fun time in Innsbruck we decided to take a spur of the moment decision to visit Sölden and the 007 Elements installation. I can highly recommend it! As a fan of the Bond films its was pretty cool to see lots of cool props and where some of the chase scenes were shot in Spectre. If you enjoyed the video any likes and subs are much appreciated!
Innsbruck on foot | Exploring Tirol's Main City | Ein Tiroler Abenteuer /
To kick off the Austrian Adventure we landed in Innsbruck and had a day to explore what the city had to offer. It was a very pleasant surprise as I didn't have too many expectations tbh. Very nice breezy city with some alpine vibes , I would love to go back and visit at some point! Hopefully you enjoy the videos any likes and subs are much appreciated! Cheers :)
The Tirol Adventure | Highlights From Austria’s Alpine Gem /
I just got back from a 10 day trip to Austria, safe to say I plan on going back asap! it was awesome, great food, challenging and fun hikes, downhill MTB, clean lakes to swim in etc. the list could go on and on. These are some of the highlights of the trip, the full adventure series will follow once I have more time to edit :) Any likes and subs are very much appreciated! cheers!
POV: Learning to downhill MTB on Blue runs | Forest of Dean Bike Park /
I've been here a few times as it's the closest place with doable downhill / flow trails for a beginner like myself. I did get a new bike and gear I'm looking forward to trying out in the future, and improve my riding :) thanks for watching, any likes and subs go a long way to helping me out!
Hiking The Skirrid & visiting the HISTORIC Raglan Castle | South Wales /
I had the day off one week so I decided to make the most of it and go for a short day trip adventure. That took me to South Wales where I hiked The Skirrid (or Ysgyryd Fawr in Welsh) and visited Raglan Castle. All in all it was a fun day out, and decent weather in the end! Can't ask for better than that in the UK! Thanks for watching :) any subs and likes are always much appreciated!
Les Deux Alpes Resort Review | 5 ⭐ /
I've looked at Les Deux Alpes for ages on socials and finally had the chance to visit this season. It lived up to expectations! I don't usually do voice over videos so bit of a work in progress. For the most part I'd say its a good intermediate / advanced rider resort so keep that in mind if you plan on visiting! :) any likes and subs help a lot!
NEW Expert Turns Session at The Wave | Review & Breakdown /
The Expert Turns session has been changed this year, so I thought I would give it a try to see how it compared to the old turns session and if it was an improvement. I included some highlights and a short wave breakdown in the video. It's still fun but the session is more of a bridge between adv+ and expert barrels now I found. still fun but more of a mellow wave. if you enjoyed the video any likes and subs help out a bunch! cheers :)
POV: Bodyboarding Springtime SWELL in Devon | Croyde Beach /
I got back in the water after what seemed like a long time going since hurting my shoulder and back. Plus a winter of snowboarding that has taken over a bit. It was good to get back to the ocean anyways, the swell was pumping although still cold! Any likes & and subs help out a bunch! cheers :)
POV: Indoor snowboarding & Testing out the DJI boost FOV lens | Tamworth Snowzone /
After coming back to the UK from the trip to Les Deux Alpes I wanted to carry on the progression. I plan on going more consistently this year to hopefully make some progress for next year's trip! I also picked up the DJI boost for lens so hopefully the general angle is less of looking at the ground! Any likes and subs help out a bunch :)
POV: HEAVY Slam snowboarding at 3600m in Les Deux Alpes | Day 7 /
On the last day of the trip I probably had the heaviest fall yet in Les Deux Alpes (aside from knocking myself out in flaine last year). I ended up going head over heels backwards twice and knocking off the mount for the DJI. Luckily I got away with a bruised rib and minor injuries so we mostly rode Toura the rest of the day in blue bird skies and cloud inversions! Overall it was an awesome trip, decent progress in my riding and hopefully I'll continue to improve :) Thanks for watching the series! Any subs and likes help out a ton! cheers
POV: Snowboarding FUN blue runs in Les Deux Alpes | Day 6 /
The 6th day started out with a whiteout at the top, so after a run down Mura we spent the rest of the day on Toura which turned out to be the best option! The sun poked out at a slightly lower altitude and we had an excellent free ride lesson with Nico from 2shreds. I'd highly recommend him if you are in Les Deux Alpes looking for a snowboard coach! If you enjoyed the video any likes and subs help out a ton and are free! :) cheers!
